The Folsom Film Society announces a summer series of films in collaboration with the Folsom Public Library starting Sunday, May 5, 2013 and running through September. Our first film is Hyde Park on Hudson at 1:00 pm to be followed by a discussion.
Except for the initial screening, all summer screenings will take place on the second Sunday of the month. We will be back for regular screenings at The Three Stages in the fall.
There is no admission fee at the library screenings but we appreciate all donations. Your generous contributions will enable us to continue bringing independent cinema to you right here in Folsom. Refreshments by ‘The Einstein Cafe’ will be available for purchase, making it a great way to spend your Sunday afternoon.
If you have not yet made it to an evening with the Folsom Film Society, be sure to join us for the summer series. You may be surprised at the thought provoking yet enjoyable films we offer every month. Announcements for our past screenings are archived and may help you understand the type of indie films the Folsom Film Society presents evey month.
VOLUNTEER and get to be part of an exciting team of film enthusiasts at FFS. We look forward to being a platform for independent filmmakers, emerging and established, from around the world, coming together on a journey of discovery that brings our community together. We want to hear from you. For questions, comments or more information email volunteer@folsomfilmsociety.org.
DONATE now and know that your generous donation is essential for the growth and existence of FFS. Without your donation, organizations such as ours cannot exist. Donate here.
